BF2 - Special Forces + Updates dont allow multi

I bought Battlefield 2 months ago and i installed it on my two machines and like all my games i crack em (why do i want to ware out my poor cdroms out) and also to allow LAN games cause i got 2 mid range pc's, now originally Battlefield2 without patches always work, but as soon as i update or install special forces (iv been wanting to play it in LAN for a week with no luck - its as if i spent the cash for nothing - i cant use it) i cant play lan matches - my Norton Antivirus for starters keeps on popping up with a random port each time (i disable it every time - its not the issue) and when thats out of the road it still reports some crap bout "server doesnt allow modified files" - iv reinstalled everything on both machines three times in diffrent orders from bf2+special forces+patch to bf2+patch+special forces and no luck.

For cracks i use a image mounted so the exe's arnt modified and shouldnt cause any issues.

Is there any patches to fix this or any way to fix it? It takes like an hour to reunstall it on both machines so its rather time consuming.
