Black Screen After Launching Game

hope u guys can help me out.

i have this problem recently. the problem is that whenever i launch a directx game (i assume) and it loads and then it suddenly just show me black screen, then bsod, and reboot itself.

if it doesnt bsod, it will just show me a black screen and nothing happens at all.

the game that so far gives me problem are total overdose and maplestory.

the game so far didnt give me problems are need for speed most wanted and quake 4.

last time i didnt get any of this problem at all.

i have uninstall, reinstall the game. i have updated the latest directx and still the same.

i have even went to the extend of reformatting my pc and still, get the same thing

the wierd problem is that my laptop is able to run total overdose and maplestory without any problem at all ...
