A Historic Video Game Brand is Brought Back from the Dead

After being liquidated in 2004, the legendary game company Acclaim is back in business, with new leadership and a new business model. Former Activision executive Howard Marks has resurrected the Acclaim brand name, and wants to produce free massively multiplayer online games. The move is bold, and it's risky - and it just might work.

I actually like their business model. I don't mind seeing in-game advertising in a quality free game if it is well done.

Note, I DO NOT buy into the m$ and others' ideas of putting ads into games that gamers are actually paying for. That's why they cahrge for them in the first place.
