Virus on C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\sys32.exe?

On my windows ME computer norton has come up with a virus (W32.Spybot.worm) on this file.

Can anyone give me a little bit more information on this exe? And norton cant quarantine or delete it, I assume its because its running, so i'm a bit afraid to get rid of it if its something my computer needs.

Well, you can try to put your computer in safe mode and tell nortans to do something with it. If you dont, it could infect other stuff and make you end up having to format. So its probably better you try and get rid of it and then re-install operatiing system (if you have to.)
