How do I use the LG LX4500 as a wireless modem for my lap top? I have
seen the USB cable in the Mobile Office Kit for the phone, but not sure
what else I need to do. I do not want to use Verizon's NationalAccess
plane, but I do have AOL. Can I use it?

The Dr offers: Get the USB cable: you tether your 4500 to your laptop, and
use it as a wireless modem. It uses up your minutes. Depending on the age
of your plan, you may have to add a data package since you are now
"tethered".

The rest of the story: buy mobile office (cable n software); install the
software, install/plug in the phone, install data compression software, make
your call. While we use the word "modem", you would configure your AOL as
if you have a tcp/ip or lan connection. Do NOT configure AOL to look for
your 4500 as a modem.

Once you dial in, you are "ON" the internet. Connect to www.aol.com; or if
you like, go through you normal AOL signup screen. But again, in this
configuration think "lan connection", do not think of it as a modem.

Alternatively, you can also use 3rd part cable/drivers; future dial is one.
Hope that helps.
