Hi everybody,
here is the problem:
suddenly my DVD/CDROM player and my CD-R/RW do not work anymore.
I have them in the system device manager but they are yellowed and show thr following:
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)
Click Troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device."

If I uninstall and reinstall them they still show the same.
When I try to record a CD i get this message:
"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)"

Any idea?

youll probably want to unplug the devices and totally delete the drivers associated with them. then plug the devices back in, and boot up the computer. have fresh drivers ready when the windows "new hardware detected" wizard asks for them.
