I recently installed my USB pad on my ubuntu linux.The jscalibrator is finding the pad(all buttons and directions are working).When I started GXMAME and switch to new 386 x.x.linux driver the joystick is working.When I started a rom the buttons are working ithe game but the pad is missing.No response.Whats the problem and can I fix it?Please respond here,that might be useful for othe ubuntu-gxmame users.Thanx.

I have just downloaded the GXMAME from wget http://surfnet.dl.sourceforge.net/ [...] 1_i386.deb
and the controller is working prooperly..Guess it was my fault.
