Mobo CPU temp vs Asus Probe CPU temp?

My Asus says my MB temp is 27C, and my CPU is 33 C. I'm running a 900 mhz celeron at normal speed.

The BIOS says the case MB temp is 26C but the CPU is 40C.

People usually say that the Asus reports it too high. Anyone think that the Asus is reporting it too low?

the reading in your mb bios is usually pretty accurate

On the i815 mobos you needed an older version of Probe to get accurate temps, if I remember correctly 12.07 (I'm fairly certain on the .07 part anyway). My CUSL2 reported temps BELOW ROOM TEMP before I switched to that version, which was far more accurate. We all know that air cooling cannot produce temps below ambient.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
