Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance

I bought the Mechwarrior 4 Compilation & installed the first game, everything seemed to be working fine.

In the campaign mode, I got to play the first mission, but after that it tries to run the briefing for the second mission and locks up and I can't even close the program without doing a hard shut down.

Downloaded the patch for it, no change. Have Windows XP, anyone know how to fix this?

Hmm, I have that same game, and I had no problems with it. Maybe you should try updating your drivers. A site I use is DriverAgent. It costs money for them to give you the file you need, but the scan of your system that tells you what drivers you have out of date is free. So you can use it to scan your system, check out what drivers you have bad, then go hunt for them online yourself. Or just pay the 30 bucks and let them do the whole process for you. Works great.
