I'm having a problem with screen resolutions - the game only gives me 3 choices (640x480, 800x600 & 1024x768) and I know my system can handle 1280x1024 but I can't find a way to set that resolution in the game. :oops: I'm curious if anyone else has this problem or knows how to fix it?

What monitor are you using. If your monitors maximum resolution is 1024x768 then you can't go any higher.

It's an LD90+ - 1280x1024 19" LCD

Yep -5/05 from Hyundai/Imagequest - All drivers are up to date.

Hardware wise I know what I'm doing - I just can't figure out why the game won't recognize the correct settings.

Try to force it and see if it works.

Yep - Forcing it works and as long as I don't change any other settings it stays that way. But as soon as I go into the "Display" menu it changes back to 1024x768 and doesn't offer 1280x1024.

The game officially supports only 4:3 aspect ratio displays as stated on the box. 1280 x 1024 is a 5:4 ratio display and the closest you will get to it is 1280 x 960.

Ahhhhh jealous of you guys, my pc actually takes a crap on it self, and then sets alight when it tries to play FEAR. :(

I know how you feel - A couple of years ago I finally decided that I was sick and tired of slow, so it was time to start investing...thankfully I've been able to support my ever worsening hardware habit. My latest habit is a 7900gt thats now volt modded and running 24/7 at 651/1800 and it can still play games at 700/1800!!! 8O
