I purchased the game today. I run the game @1600X1200 with all options (even physics and future content enabled). I get an average of around 34-35 fps but the game is a little sluggish (especially in the start and for a couple of minutes). It seems like doing something and the framerate drops instantly very low (15 frames or so). After a couple of minute though it's around 34-35 fps on the same location.
Last but not least:
The game performs exactly the same with only 1 7900GTX and even if i use SLI the second card remains cold as if it is not used at all.
I use a rig with FX-60 /Asus A8N-SLI Premium / 2GB Ram OCZ PC3200 @ 2-5-3-2-1T/ 2x7900GTX Extreme (675/1650) / xFi Elite Pro and 2 Raptor 740GD on stripe (Raid 0)
I use Forceware Drivers 84.21 WHQL and the SLI works perfectly on other games (e.g. F.E.A.R.)
Does anybody have the same situation?
I look forward for a Tom's Hardware review/benchmark as the games' graphics abilities set new standards for us gamers.
I tried Eidos' site but it says that the game will be at stores in two days from now!! (If it is so then how comes that i already purchased it for 49.99 euros?) Of course there is no sign of patch or faq about SLI on Eidos' site!!
* various performance problems
* stability problems
* controller problems
Warning:
The patch fixes performance issues with NVIDIA cards but doesn't completely activate the Next-Gen content. NVIDIA actively works on an updated driver that should fully address the problems."
Thank you my friend. I'm already downloading the patch! I'll let you know how it performs!

Well! I downloaded the patch frame rate improved a couple of frames but the game still uses only one 7900GTX! and no SLI!
I also found Forceware beta 84.26 from guru3d. No improvement even with these drivers!
It seems very odd that eidos does not use SLI in a so power demanding game! I feel i dumped 50 euros...
