Current system is a PII 466. I want to upgrade, mostly do MS Office functions, surf the net, email, and Play Counter Strike. Going to buy a Nvidia TI 4200 card next week and will also upgrade a Mother board and processor, and power supply, as well as RAM if I have to.

Question is, what affordable motherboard to run a P4 - 1.7ghz?
How much power am I going to need to run the nvidia, Motherboard, 1 HD, 2 CDRWs, and the floppy, and will one of those generic ones listed on PriceWatch.com for 10 bucks be good enough?

What is the difference between AGP Pro and AGP 4x?

Thanks!!!

Depends on your budget. I assume you already have the P4, otherwise get the 1.6a northwood for overclocking. The asus p4s533 is good for ddram. For rambus, get the abit th7-II and samsung pc800. I use the epox 4sda+ for it's ata 133 support and extra ide ports (I don't use the raid option). Get a good 350-400 watt name brand power supply; one that's listed on amd's or Intel's approved list on their website. Antec, sparkle, enermax, are just a few good ones. Can't help you with agp pro.
