How do you blow out the Mainboard headers on your mobo? I have my Dragon Orb3 7k plugged into the mobo, how can this damdage it? Just wondering...

Most newer motherboards can handle up to 7 amp. on the fan headers. This is no so with older boards, some will fail at 4 amp. ,some lower. The 12 volt "traces" on the motherboard are too small to cary this amount of electricity. So they overheat, and when they get hot their resistance increases, which in turn makes them get hotter, etc. etc. and so on until the traces burn or fry.

I aint signing nothing!!!
