System: PIV 1.8GHz northwood
Soltek sis645 motherboard
512mbddr stick
Herculesgametheater xp
Nvidia geoforce2/mx400
windows xp
newest drivers / detonator 28.32 and up tried and failed.

Whenever i run a 3d apllication, (I have tried 3dbench2001se, quake III and JediKnight IIoutcast), the system eventualy freezes. After a minut or so, winxp pops up a blue screen, stating an idefinitely loop in nv4_disp
I have tried all bios settings, even the most sluggish - no change. I have tried all kinds of different settings in both the gameengines and the display drivers, no avail.

The grafix card worked flawlessly in my old asus cls2/Piii setup, but after I changed to Piv/soltek/ddr i havent been able to play any 3d games.

Any one else experiencing this?

After a LOT of re and uninstalls, it appears to be a conflict between the chipset and the Nvidia drivers. Only set of drivers I have been able to get to complete 3dbench2001se is the drivers inbuilt winxp ones. They are VERY slo, and do have some opengl 1.1 issues (namely, they dont support it).

Anybody found a magic fix for this, or should I go to the grafix card area? (same card, same xp, same drivers worked on my old motherboard).
