Whats a good motherboard?

Im making a new computer, and I was wondering what a good motherboard/chipset would be to put in. I will use it to play games, watch/encode/decode movies, and program things... I was planning on getting an nVidia nForce, but

has the Apollo KT333 as a higher FPS... I was wondering hat motherboard is good for playing games, stuff like that, and overclocking.

well both motherboards are "good". it really depends on what your looking for.

yes, the kt333 based motherboards do give slightly higher performance, but inorder to get that u will need to use more expensive PC2700 ram.

the nforce has the advantage of having alot of good things built into the motherboard, such as the graphics (with the 420), and 6 channel sound and LAM (420 or 415), which saves you from buying PCI cards.

but if your into overclocking, then my personal reccomendation is the EPOX 8K3A+ (kt333 board)
a decently designed board with lots of nice overclocking features. (vcore up to 2.2v, ddr voltage, lots of mem timings etc)
