Is anyone Dual Monitor gaming??

Is there anyone out there that is spanning new games onto two monitors?? If so, how are you doing it? Is it built into the game or some video card util?

Seems a shame to me. All that horse power in these new GPUs but can't span the new cool games across multiple screens.
I could think of lots of ways to use multiple screens in games beside spanning the main screen too. A full second screen for list of items, weapons, map, etc. Too bad, I think it would add a whole new aspect of gaming that hasn't really been used before.
