I'm trying to edit Office 2007 so that I can enter a different product key. I entered the incorrect key when activating my trial, and instead of telling me it was wrong, it went on with the trial. I now want to enter the CORRECT key. I've found sites that show me how to do this in RegEdit, but it's missing one key element. The site tells your to look for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration. However, my RegEdit in Windows 7 stops at "12.0", not giving me the "registration" option.
Anyone have any help here?
