All,

Wondering if this is a problem or not. When I run CPU intensive Apps (like RTCW) my CPU usage jumps to 100% and my Asus PC Probe starts screaming. My +12V value jumps to over 13, and I'm wondering why that is and if I should worry. I appreciate the assistance.

My PC:
XP 2000 running with 140FSB (standard HSF)
A7V333 with 1*512 Samsung PC2700
Maxtor ATA133 80GB
AIW 7500 (not overclocked)
350 Watt PS, 2 extra case fans

see if there is an update for PC-Probe its been riddled with problems in the early versions, however this is a concern.

What was that!

Thanks, I'll take a look for that update. If you don't mind me asking, how big of a concern is it? Do you happen to know the possible reasons for bringing that voltage so high? Is there an easy way to reduce it in the meantime?

download and run motherboard monitor.

Poobaa, you are the man. MBM is sweet, and the Asus probe (while accurate with all other settings) was WAY off with my 5V and 12V settings. Asus probe says 13V, MBM says 12.34. Thanks again.

heheh great

one thing u can try which is real fun is run asusprobe and MBM at the same time...
on my system probe cracked the sads bigtime *smiles*

but ages ago i knew asusprobe was complete crap when it kept reporting the 5v line dropping to zero for a few seconds at a time. and mysteriously my pc kept running

only thing MBM needs are those moving line charts.
