Lagging with my new hardware

Recently bought the following system:
AMD Athlon XP 2000 on A7V333 RAID
Crucial 256 PC2100 DDR
Nvidia Geforce 3 Ti 200
Maxtor DiamondMax 40Gb
Sonic Fury

I am experiencing serious lagging in RTCW and huge slow down when running Kazaa. I did not have this problem with my old system (PIII 650, 640Mb RAM). Have i not got enough memory to run RTCW at 1024x768? Anyone else had this problem with a similar system?

are you on broadband ?? if so have you reset your rwin and mtu's to run at full throttle ?
