Most mods i download tell me to copy their files into the oblivion/data/textures folder.
however, for me the textures folder is not there, so do i just create one?
i tried creating a texture folder this morning, and then i downloaded the 'get wet' mod, and copied it to the texture folder just like they said, and ticked the option to enable 'get wet' just before playing, but then when i actually played oblivion, my character still doesnt get wet, is there something i did wrong?

Normally, there aren't very many folders inside of the "data" folder, given that for the main game, almost all of the data is stashed inside of a container file, Oblivion.BSA.

Since making BSA files is out of the reach of most modders, generally, putting the files in the right folder works well enough. By default, there is no "textures" folder, so you should simply create on in the following location:C:program filesBethesda SoftworksOblivionData FilesTexturesOf course, the above assumes you're using the default instalation folder; change whatever it is before the "Oblivion" part as necessary.

If it still doesn't work, I'm not sure what to say.
