Problems with viruses

brand new computer and i have few viruses i could right down that didnt get removed just got scanned over y is this how can i get them off tried what norton suggested they just seem to be idiots

First off... Norton sucks... Second... If you didn't go to websites that you where not suposed to go to you would not have viruses *Unless your still using IE that browser like to let viruses in.*

only thing i have done for websites wise is dl music otherwise dont browse webs and 2nd im not asking for what u think about it asking whats best way to get them removed

Download and install Malwarebytes.
Run in safemode.
Also i would suggest using Microsoft Security Essentials instead of Norton.
Both of these are free and very good.
I would also suggest you pratice scanning video/music and other torrent files first before opening them..
