Hey there readers... I've posted a few times, and I've been reading a lot of posts to learn a few things. I'm going to be building me a new P4 system in the near future, and I wanted to get a few ideas/recommendations from you guys. Here's my plan so far:

Case: Antec SX1040B (400W)
Motherboard: Abit TH7II
CPU: Pentium 4 1.8A
RAM: 1 GB Samsung PC800 (4x256)
Video Card: ATI Radeon 8500
HDD: Western Digital WD800JB (8 MB cache)
CDRW: Lite-on 32X

I was looking mostly for a system that would play a few games (I don't play a lot... so a Ti4600 isn't exactly a smart purchase), and let me do my work (I'm in grad school and I do a lot of FEM). Does this look like a good idea to you guys? Any recommendations? Thanks for any advice in advance!!!

A side note: the TH7II will let me "lock" the speed of the AGP and PCI bus, right? I will probably overclock the FSB to 133MHz (mostly for the RAM bandwidth). Also, can I use the stock HS/fan from the retail 1.8A? Thanks!
