Since installing 103-104 update, game starts to load then crashes never gets to opening credits. Anyone know how to uninstall 103_104 update? Nothing changed on pc, ran before update

I can't really help you here, but i am downloading this patch at the moment and i'm taking a second thought about installing it. i'm not sure, but i suspect the main purpose of this patch is for anti-copy protection and stop illegit versions of the game. who knows, they never tell us what this update is supposed to do.
umnm if you can't uninstall, then you might have to reinstall the whole thing from scratch. but as long as you can somehow figure out how to save your profile data, there would be no problems in doing this.

Check your system restore point and see if it's log in there. If so then just load the settings before the patch installing and that should do it. There might be a case that it is not logged in the restoration points. Just install the 103 update then and overwrite the newer patch and you should be good to go.

I downloaded this update whilst loading to continue my mission (Unauthorised Personnel). Once downloaded and installed the programme continued to load but crashed as you have experienced. I rebooted the machine and started a new game and, hey presto, all works fine (can't say that I have noticed much of a change though!). It seems that the patch is not compatable with previously saved game data (a tad annoying having got as far as I did). Anyway hope this is of some help.
