I'll tell you what happend to them, people started caring more about graphics than they did for gameplay. Alot of great games never had great graphics, it was the gameplay behind it that mattered. This is why i always have been a great nintendo fan. They only put thier heart and soul into the games and kept the gamer in mind. ugh, im ranting.

Not much of a rant there, pardner, but I agree with you - too much focus on realism, not enough on making the games fun. Never understood this myself, since I thought games were supposed to take you AWAY from the real world, not try to stick you back into it. Or maybe that's just me... :roll:
