OK I tried that and I see the icon is different. It does not seem to be a
very easy or quick way to spot someone in the heat of battle. There should
be a way to respond quick and set a waypoint to them. For a game that needs
teamwork it seems there could be better way to communicate to teammates.

You can also see them marked if you have friendly tags enabled and
are close enough, and looking in the right direction.
