Is the rumor that flat panels are due to drop by 25% in Q1 2001 correct? I don't see any signs of this yet :(

--waiting until I can afford an 18" LCD...

I think that is partly true because Taiwanese manufacturers want to challenge Koreans in the LCD industry by quantity. That COULD drive prices down, but maybe the slowdown of the global economy could have hampered the process...
