They already waited too long... I surely won't buy it anymore.

The developer said they will release it to go head-to-head with Duke Nukem Forever.

That's about how much chance there is of the game coming out. I do hope I'm proved wrong though.

The game setup is very complex so it requires a lot of tuning and testing.

Any one of you remember Boiling Point: Roadway to Hell? Ever played it? It had similar ambitions (in a different story setting) and it was in itself a very fun game, with one major drawback: the bugs in the game made it unplayable for the long run. That was a real bummer, nice story, nice graphics, great gameplay, too many bugs.

So in itself, taking time for excrusiating testing, if it results in a great game, than can actually be played then I don't mind. We'll see how good it is when it finally ships, if it's still worth the money.

Where have you been? I almost applied for your job since you left :P

The last I read about it stated that it going to be out next Q1 of 2007. Hope they don't change that released date for it seems to be an eternity waiting for great games to be hitting the shelves.

I've been busy for a week or two, was around after that (last week) but didn't feel like posting.

I did some moderating though, didn't you notice? :P

As the line goes from one of my fave Futurama episodes

When you do things right, people hardly notice you have done anything at all.

yeah but cmon you dont want to spend 50 bucks on an outdated game. i mean when they gave the specs to run it what were they like gf 2mx 500 mhz proc. lol thats scalability for you, next gen games are what like 2.4 ghz min gf 6 or 7 series. whatever i probably still will buy it. just tired of waiting they havent updated their site in like a year those bastereds.

I'm still waiting for it to. Latest word is early 2007 but to meet that date they are pulling out some of the features. Still has a lot of potential though but the new trend by then will be a lot more physics and object AI so they better have something hot if they want any decent reviews and sales.

Let's not forget that they scrapped and rebuilt Half-Life, delaying it a good while, back in the day. Have faith.
