I have an ECS motherboard (K7S5A) and am installing this is an Antec midtower case. The power LED connector from the case is designed to fit over 3 pins. According to the diagram on the manual for the motherboard FP1 the connector is for two pins. Do I need an adapter? What is my best choice of action?

i dont think so...
connectors such as those are pretty standard, and i think on of the pinholes on the connector is unused anyway.
so it just goes onto 2 pins.

try it out anyway.
the worst that can happen is that u dont get a light.

thats a problem with that board. Easieast thing to do is either cut the connector in half, or remove the gold connectors from the housing making it possible to slip the individual contacts over the pins.
