Is it me or is the 850 chipset being ignored? I've been visiting the sites of mobo manufacturers and online sellers tonight. Most new boards I've seen include the 845e chipset. I realize rambus is expensive but to utilize the 533 bus to its potential isn't rambus needed?

Cheap, and standardized parts. If your OEM can stock one type of memory for all it's AMD and Intel systems, they save money on stocking. And the chipsets themselves cost less. And a lot of people hate Rambus for a lot of good reasons. But the i850 is still the best on the market right now.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?
