new upgrade

Hi all,
I'm looking at upgrading my current PIII system with the following: Gigabyte GA-81RXP Mobo, 512MB PC2100, and a P4 1.7 - 2.0Ghz(socket 478)processor. I know I'll have to upgrade my power supply. Is this a relatively decent setup and is there anything else I'm missing?

Have you considered the HDD or the vid card? You really should get a good vid card to go with that setup. Get like a GeForce 4 4400, the Leadtek one. Other than that, it sounds fine, but (not trying to start flame war) Maybe you should consider gutting an amd based system. They are a bit less expensive. As for power supply, you could go with an antec or enermaxx 350 watt psu, maybe even a 400 watt.

YOu did know that there are two different socket 478 P4's and that one is about 10% better performing than the other, did you not?
