I read the sticky but there's only a few games.
What about all older games, like Age of Empires 1 & 2 or Red Alert 2?

Can anyone confirm Dual Core Pentium will work with these older games?


I read it's not just Dual Core, but Hyperthreading too!!!
So what about Single Core Hyper Threaded CPUs? Anyone tried them?

The above thread relates to games that are optimised for dual core. The games you mention should run fine on dual core assuming there are no issues with running those old games on XP same with singlecore and hyperthreading.

You're getting confused with what the sticky is for.

the sticky is a list of games that will utilise both cores, older games will still work fine they will just use 1 core though.
