The dream system!

Hey People,

I want to put together a good system. I am still doing some research, but I want some opinions. If you could build a system for mulitmedia purposes (gaming and audio video editing) using existing and available technology from scratch, what would it include (software and all)?

i would probly go with a dual p4 with a gig of ram, depending on how much data were talking about, a couple fast striped hard drives as a work drive and a separate system drive. dont know about the software for video editing, but you gotta at least get serious sam : )

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

I would tell you my "dream system" but it would probably cost $10,000 USD. What's your budget?

I don't live in the States so I don't know the exact prices, but you might want to check out the components I mentioned.
