Can't receive files

Hi Guys.
I have a two machine connected to a cable wireless router. My problem is that I can't receive files from my buddies on ICQ or MSN, though I can successfully send a file to them. I can't also connect to Morphus but everthing else works normally. I can surf and download.
Is there is some issue with specific port numbers blocked? If some has resolved this issue then please let me know.

It's probably due to a port being blocked by your router. Check your s/w documentation. If it requires a specific port for communication, it'll tell you which one. Then you'll have to specifically open that port with your router. Good luck!
