When I use the Master Volume control ( speaker incon in tray bottom left) & try to reduce the volume by dragging the slider downwards this does not reduce my volume??
Also when I click on the Mute all tick box under the Mster Volume option this does not mute the volume??

The mixer device or audio controller notes on my Master Volume is: Inter(R)Integrated Audio

When playing a CD ROm game my volume is a its maximum(i.e very loud) & I cannot reduce it due to above...
Why is this occuring??
