Is there a Distro that'll run Counter-Strike as a Client?

I've got SuSe and 6.2, 8.0 Pro and the CD (bootable) from Knoppix.

They all will if you configure them properly. You can use the free wine, and it may work, but it takes a lot of effort to get going right. There are some guides, but I found they don't all work too well.

CS and Steam are now 100% supported under transgaming's winex, and I've actually used that to play CS in linux. It works really well.

(gentoo linux btw)
