is there any way to play a xbox game(an iso format image of it) on a computer

U could use an emulator. Try this one its the best one I could find http://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/xbox/xeon.html you have to have a good computer though. I never got to use it becouse... just look at my specs. And unfortunately it only plays 1 commercial game so far but in the future it should play just about every xbox game there is. The one fully functional emulator I have tried is the nintendo 64 emulator and it works great.

At the moment the XBox just really isn't ready to be ran under emulation. Give it time and it should be emulated pretty well though.

You'd think you could emulate the xbox pretty easily, but I guess not. Oh well.

The Xbox may be similar to a PC, but the motherboard and how it access information is different. Also the OS has to be emulated too.
