HP Tablet wireless connection problem

Hello all,
I hope you are having a great time!!

In fact I have a Laptop and a tablet PC both with the feature of the
wireless internet WIFI facility.

I have built my home internet network using a GREATSPEED router whcih i
configured very well with no problem.

My Laptop can see the connection and can get the internet with no
problem.
But my HP Tablet PC can see the connetion but can not browse althouge i
double check all the configuration of both the devices.

In the laptop i am using Windows 2000 with external PCMCIA card.
My HP Tablet PC has its internal built in wireless feature.

My Laptop is using the following:
IP address: 192.168.7.10
Gateway: 192.168.7.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

My HP tablet is using the following:
IP address: 192.168.7.11
Gateway: 192.168.7.1
Subnet: 255.255.255.0

I can ping my ip address, the gateway and the DNS of my ISP from the
laptop but i can only ping the ip address of my HP tablet pc but not
the gateway nore the DNS.

I have also disabled the DHCP in the the router

Can anyone help me in this
