Any ideas why it gets choppy sometimes? I thought once a level is loaded, it's all on the ram. I have 2 gigs of ram. Hold on it's not the gpu. It's a x1900 xtx Shouldn't be cpu either, fear auto configures it at max. 3.2 mhz People say turn down some of the eye candy or rez. Have tried both same results. When set on min or max. Still get some choppys. Only thing would be soft shadows, thier off. Hmmmm ???? x1900 xtx should run fear smooth as silk, what's up?

it`s a general problem with this game ...
the killer is the soft shadow......turn it off you won`t loose much ...

my sistem runs this game very good (100% over 40fps) at 1024x768...all settings high, including aa4x and af4x....except soft shadow...which is off

at 1280x960 it also run good but i have to turn the shadows at med

v-sync is always on ...but i noticed an increase in fps when turned off....the anoying thing about this is that when the image changes allot (you fire a weapon) the image cuts on horizontal....
