curious but if u have the game FEAR, whats the average FPS you have on high-medium settings in games, please state what video card u use as well, i have 2 7900GTXs oc'ed in SLi, thanks. ;D

well I have 7950 gx2 with an fx-55 and 2 gigs of XMS ddr ram I get around 40 - 50 average

Doesn't drop below 28 FPS. Maxed out, except for soft shadows.

Stays somewhere between 28-35 fps.

a64 3200+
7600GT
1GB xms ram

i get around 30 frames average on medium 1024x768
around 10-15 frames medium-high 1024x768
256MB 9600pro(lame i know, u dont hav to tell me unless u really want 2)

Ran the test in the menu....
Lowest was 32
Average was 69
Highest was 85
81% above 69
Settings at average w/2x AA at 1024x768
GeForce 7800GS
AMD XP3000
Gigabyte GA-7N400-L MB
2Gig Corsair XMS RAM

Hahahahaha, awesome. I should try and throw this on my P2 machine with a geforce 2 and see what happens.

I gotta ask, what do you use for a screen capture? And what are the settings in the game? I've a machine with a 9800 Pro in it too and it seems to run FEAR pretty well. I'll have to try that test on it. ( Low settings too. )

i have the same system with A64 3200+ 512 MB DDR 400 Ram,
SPARKLE 7600 GT
But i am getting a low of 11 FPS an average of 85 FPS and a high of 153 FPS.
Can you tell me why i am getting a low of 11 FPS?
I am running it at 1024x768 with everything max with no AA..

Try lowering the texture setting and turning off soft-shadows.

soft shadows kill.

turning them off made a huge difference for me.
