Half Life 2 resolution help!

I have a Dell Trinitron Monitor that goes up to 1920x1200 without enabling Windows XP [hide modes that this monitor cannot display]. Anyway, HL2 will only let me go up to 1600x1200. Is there a command in HL2 that I could use to force the resolution to 1920x1200? Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe that's because not all of your lines can be seen?

In case you hadn't noticed. It has happened to me as well btw, I've asked someone to look into it.
