dual processor question

Looking at buying a new motherboard, possibly a dual processor (looking at ASUS CUV4X-D). What I need to know is whether a board that supports dual processors REQUIRES dual processors. meaning can I buy the board and use it only having one processor and add the other processor later?

yeah you can. slot1 boards needed a terminator card if only one cpu was going to be used, on i think 800mhz+ cpus. i think because of power requirements? socket370 isn't effected by this though.
