mouse over some object, something blows up

- - -

i have Max 7. i'd like to learn to add interactivity, use objects i've modelled as props in a video game.

one of the things i've modelled is a giant mealworm. let's say, as an educational example, i want to mouse over the mealworm, and activate one of the other animations where a teapot blows up.

One company i've found is Virtools.

is there an SDK, system development kit, that people use when they want to add interactivity to Max ?

or a tutorial that explains how to take the path via scripting in Max ?

or a VRML editor that imports *.max files and then you add the interactivity there ? i've found something called "VZX".

or is this a job for - Visual Basic ?

thanks !
