Copying Patch files?

Can anyone tell me how to locate and copy only my XP
Professional Patch files please? Thank you!

In Windows Update go to Customize and go to Show Windows Update Catalog.
You can then search for updates and download them to your HDD for future
use. (I.e. burning to CD etc etc)

I've been doing that but why does the ordinary Windows Update display more
recent updates than the catalog (the Sasser patch in particular).
