Tomb Raider Angel Of Darkness

Throughout the levels, Lara has various conversations and gives instructions on some moves, however, when Lara talks she doesn't talk at all, but her voice is rushed, making her sound like a frenzied rat.

Let's just say she's not talking the way she should be, and neither are the people she holds conversations with.

This problem arose when I installed it on the new Windows XP computer.

I've had this game ever since it first came out, and not once has this problem ever occured.

Is there a way to get Lara to talk like she's supposed to? If so, I'd very much like to know.
