I installed Windows xp pro over xp home. After installing xp pro, my computer stated that several files didn't load. Now each time I boot up, my computer asks for the xp pro cd rom, but doesn't complete the install.
How can I stop the computer from asking for the xp pro cd rom and go back to using xp home? I tried disconnecting the cd drive, but the xp pro information is on the hard drive. This keeps windows from displaying.
