i've been trying to play bf2 online, but i have issues.
i'm running 1.3 if i use the built in game browser i only get 4 games to pop up.
gamespy will not reconize bf2 and if i try to enter a bf2 lobby i get fatal errors.. i'll try to manualy get gamespy to see the game but it skips past it...

Just reinstall everything and then find the latest patch and install it as well. You don't have to use gamespy to play online. As for mine I install the game and then rejected the gamespy software. I use Xfire (www.xfire.com) to search servers on almost all my online games.

just wondering, do you use the incremental 1.3 patch or full. i have heard of people having problems with the incremental one.
