Hi,

I was today looking at some HP printer and all in one models in my local PC
World and noticed that the build quality seems to be quite poor.

Or, to be more precise, some of the parts seem either prone to rapid wear,
or flimsy enough to break off....

Firstly, the PSC 1350. The simple act of pulling down the paper tray seems
to wear away at the lugs on each side that hold it up - so much so that a
lot of dust seems to be generated on either side - dust which I assume to be
the plastic case wearing away.

Secondly, the PSC 2410. The paper tray seems quite awkward to use. Inserting
paper seems like it would be a chore as you seem to have to lift the paper
output tray out of the way first...?

Thirdly the Photosmart 7762. This has some sort of lever on the right hand
side of the paper input tray that you push to one side and slide towards the
printer.

a) What is its function?
b) Why does it appear that it might break off at any time?

Si.
