I've been playing with the Oscuros Oblivion Overhaul and it seems pretty good so far. A bit more challenging, but also satisfying. I guess there's supposed to be a new version soon, you should check it out.
Oh, and be sure to get the Khajit Eye toggle, so you don't have to keep recasting eye of night...
