Motherboard And Ram?

I have a Soltek 75DRV2 KT266A motherboard and I can get windows XP to run with two sticks of DDR ram one is 256MB DDR Samsung and the other is 256MB DDR Micron please help XP just restarts all the time when both are in together but eith seperate will work fine.

have you overclocked your memory (FSB or/and CAS2 setting)?

use this program.
run each stick individually
then both together
then swap them over

see what you get. there are cases where two different sticks of ram dont work together for some reason.

and make sure its not one of the ramslots playing up.

memtest takes a while, but is very thourough.
