Firstly can you tell me what I could do to learn something about these 2 error reports? 1. Application Error: a program name ... c0000005 ... same program name ... (00540003) and 2. Symantec c0000005 <no symbols> (001A4709) . And in the Error Report Options... Do not report errors for these programs ... the first box is greyed out ... the second box reads Acro Rd 32.exe ? Should I check the 2 boxs as options. Thankyou

Hi,

1) Update your Creative sound card drivers

2) Looks like a conflict between Norton (no surprise) and Adobe's acrobat
reader. When does this happen?

The errors are listed once each . I looked through certificates and found Microsoft could not validate ( is that the correct term ? ) one of them . I have deleted it .Is Creative Sound card a part of Windows XP Home Edition ? I have looked through some files on my computer and opened some with Notepad and some files contained what appears to be jibberish to me. Would what I saw be the way programs are written or would I have looked at the writings of a virus or worm or hilack or the like? Thanks for reading this.
